Paul Anthony Cook, born on February 22, 1967, is an English professional football manager and former player. Cook had a notable spell at Tranmere Rovers, joining the club in 1995 from Coventry City for a fee of 250,000. During his time with Tranmere, he made 69 appearances, including 63 starts and 6 as a substitute, and scored 4 goals. He made his debut against Oldham Athletic on March 3, 1996. After over 60 games with the club, Cook transferred to Stockport County in 1997 for the same fee he was purchased for. Beyond his playing career, Cook has enjoyed success as a manager, winning titles with Sligo Rovers, Chesterfield, Portsmouth, and Wigan.
